I would like to invite all singers and instrumentalists to be a part of our Sunday night Singing Fest on May 24th. We are going to showcase some of our Crossroads talent in the evening service. So get your song or practice on your instrument and get ready for the 24th. If you would like to sing or play, please see me or call the church    office. We will have warm-ups and sound checks beginning at  4:00 pm, before starting the service at 6:00 pm.

On May 31st  at 4:00 pm, our evening service will be at the Heritage House on FM 31 in Marshall. Join us as we minister to the   residents and worship together with them. Our choir will be singing in that service. Speaking of choir, we are working on our Patriotic Music for our special July 4th Saturday Night     Celebration service. Our choir will be singing and we are planning a special Crossroads fellowship after the music. We would love to have you join us in our choir.

As the school year draws to a close, there are many things that clutter our schedules.  Things like end of the year parties,   studying for tests, and stressing become commonplace.  If you are a senior, you have all that senior stuff to do…pictures,      announcements, thank you cards, prom…the list goes on.  The danger is that we make getting our “stuff” done more important than our relationship with God.  We make “getting it done” an idol.  With the summer quickly approaching, take a minute and think about your relationship with the Lord and see if you  need to put him higher on your priority list.
On another note, Youth Camp registration has begun!  Youth camp is June 22-26th.  The cost of camp is  $185.  If you missed our mission project fundraiser, please see me ASAP.  I will be taking smaller groups out between now and the middle of June for those who want to take advantage of the opportunity to earn money toward the cost of camp.

                                                          God Bless!
                                                              -Jeff
