OUR PURPOSE
The Purpose of our Children’s Ministry at Crossroads is to provide a safe and loving environment for all children.  We provide safe and loving environments for all children in order to encourage the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and social growth of each child.  In doing all these things, we hope to ensure a loving introduction to how we do church at crossroads, for both the child and their families.

We offer various ministries for children birth through sixth grade.

NURSERY: Infant – two years

· Silent beepers

· Healthy nursery policy

· Sleeping room

· Low worker to child ratio

· Sign in system

Our nursery provides safe loving care for our youngest children. We have very capable and loving volunteers to care for children during every service. Pagers make it possible to reach parents anywhere in the building.

PRE-SCHOOL: Ages two—four years

· Sunday School

· Extended Teaching Care

· Sunday Night Discipleship

Extended Teaching Care is an optional program for this age. The children have a short Bible Story along with free time, crafts and a snack.

KINDERGARTEN—SIXTH GRADE

· Sunday School

· Children’s Church

· Sunday Night Discipleship

Children’s Church is a worship experience designed especially for kindergarten through fourth grade. This kid friendly program encourages lots of movement, creativity, and hands on experience all while learning about Jesus.

9:15 a.m. Sunday School:

Ages 2-3— Bible Study

Ages 4-6th Grade—Elevate

10:15 a.m. Extended Teaching Care: Ages 2-5

10:15 a.m. Children’s Church, Kindergarten—4th Grade

SUNDAY NIGHTS

6:00 p.m. Discipleship (new this fall) High Voltage Kids Bible Study (1st—6th Grade)

Bible Story with age appropriate crafts (ages 2– kindergarten)

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

5:00—6:15 p.m. Dinner

6:15—7:30 p.m. RA’s, GA’s, Mission Friends (Nursery available )
