“The Tree of Light” will be presented by our adult choir on Sunday morning, December 12 . It is an exciting Christmas musical with exuberant worship. “The Tree of Light” shows us the spiritual symbolism in one of the world’s most recognizable symbols, the Christmas tree. Discover how the evergreen is like God’s eternal life, and never ending love. The lights that decorate the tree speak of the light of His truth, the crimson ribbon is a powerful picture of the blood that flowed for us and the presents under the tree are like the gift of salvation we find only in Jesus.
That evening our children will be presenting “The Best Christmas Present Ever.” After their performance we will meet in the fellowship hall for the “Birthday Party for Jesus” and will take up a love offering to buy gifts for families in need, in our community, during the Christmas holidays.
On Sunday night, December 19 , we will be going Christmas Caroling. We will meet at the church at 4:00 pm to go caroling to the shut-ins of our community and Heritage House and Reunion Inn.
On Sunday, December 26, we will only have a morning worship service beginning at 10:30 am. There will be no Sunday School classes that morning and no evening service.
