Berea, Sunday School, and Father’s Day – James
Categories: news and events
What a blessing to be in our new “Berea” Building, a place where we can gather in small groups to examine the scriptures. I want to thank everyone who worked hard at workday on May 7th to make our first Sunday in our new building. We have a new class, “The Explorers” taught by Rick and Shirley Novak. If you are not in a class or want to try out a new one, stop by for a visit. This class is open to any age adult.
If you are not involved in a Sunday School class or if you haven’t been in a while, you might get a visit on Wednesday evenings. We have a visitation program going on as we try to reconnect with the Crossroads family. Sunday School/Small Group Bible Study is such an important part of our Christian life and we want you to be a part of it.
Father’s Day, June 19th – We want to fill the choir loft with men for our annual Father’s Day All Male Choir. We will have a brief practice 9:00 am that morning.
Choir practice dates for June are the 5th, 12th, and the 26th. We will sing some patriotic selections during the evening service on July 3rd followed by hamburgers, hot dogs and fireworks!
