Children’s MinisterEmail Stacia
Stacia is the wife of our own James Runnels, and considers herself called by his side in ministry. A mother to their five girls, life is always busy, but blessed! Stacia actively volunteers in our community and schools, and has served in nearly every area of church ministry over the last 18 years. When she is not taking care of our Crossroads children (or her own!), she also enjoys speaking at women’s ministry events as time permits. Graduating from Baylor University in 1993 with a BS in Education, she specialized in Early Childhood and minored in Psychology. Stacia oversees all of our children’s activities from birth through 6th grade and joined our staff in 2010. She feels blessed to be a part of a ministry that facilitates a knowledge and love of Christ in the hearts of children each and every week. “When I see a little one come to Christ, or children singing praises to their Savior in VBS, or witness them learning who Jesus is for the very first time in Sunday School I am moved beyond words and my eyes well up with tears. That’s how I know I am in the right place in ministry. Seeing their lives changed is ‘why we do what we do’!”
