And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth. As a result, many Jews believed, as did many of the prominent Greek women and men.
We pray that God uses this building for his glory. God’s people of Berea studied the scriptures daily. This is what we pray our Berea will become. As of right now, only the bottom floor is in use. One third of the building is youth space, one third is a multipurpose area that hosts many events each week, and the remaining third is dedicated to adult Bible study.
We asked each church member to make a three-year commitment to give together for God’s glory. We are nearing the end of those three years, and God is continuing to bless us. We are already nearing the capacity of the Berea building and in February 2013, we began planning how to move forward with the completion of the second story.
We are still receiving Faith Promise Cards for our new Family Education Building, if you would like to make a pledge.
